Would have been nice a few days earlier. On my last fill up, I managed to get 43.06 litres of V-Power for the low, low price of £43.03 :yahoo:

Well I tried it when it was the same price as 95RON. Wasn't sure what to expect as last time I tried BP Ultimate I seemed to get worse MPG than Tesco 95!

But....

Did about 300 miles of driving (250 or so motorway), not sure if the car felt any quicker or anything, but decided to top up with V-Power again anyway to keep trying it. Worked out the MPG when I re-filled it and it was 40.9!!

So it looks like I get better MPG on V-Power.

Seeing as it's only an extra £3 or so per tank I'll be sticking with it for a while that's for sure. :D

Where in Essex do you live?

I filled up with V-Power yesterday in Essex (well, Upminster (just inside M25), dunno if that's still Essex!).

Have a look on the Shell website here.

V-Power has gone up to over £1 round here so I have gone back to Tesco at 97.9p which is still more than I used to pay.

The normal stuff seems to be sticking in price but all the Super Unleaded seems to be going up all the time
