Air Con Packed Up!

Four months out of warranty and my air con has become very inefficient - just blows warm air out. I hoped it would just need regassing, but when they tried to regass it, they found a leak in the condenser.

New condensor required ------ £410 total parts and labour.

This is turning out to be one expensive to run car!

Same happened to mine but just inside warranty last year.

I took out a two year extended warranty with Warranty Direct. Platinum cover cost me just over £400 so I guess you would have broken even. Not had to use Warranty Direct yet but a colleague has and he recommends them strongly.
