 Hi Folks,

I am new to this, I have just got my first ever Toyota and it's an absolutely Fantastic car, I am truly impressed with the car, it;s a 2003 Avensis 2.0 litre semiautomatic T-Spirit in Red, I love the car, but I do have one problem, it's the SATNAV system I have been trying to work the thing for a week now and still have no joy.

(I also do not have the user manual for the System)

I tried the reroute button and stumbled across some options stupidly I selected the home option, and now when I turn the system on the SATNAV wants to take me to the previous owners address.

The problem that I have is I can't get this to clear and I was wondering if any of you guys new how to solve this problem.

I also have an issue with the version of the system that I have, is there a way to eject the dvd from the unit as I cannot find an eject button on the unit, I require this in order to get the proper user manual.

Many Thanks in advance for your help guys.

Go through the menus and find delete destination then delete all the previous owners destinations . Your car may have a CD not a DVD. Under the passengers seat is the SAT Nav UNIT containing the CD or DVD. There is a button or lever on that unit that releases the CD or DVD.

You can also set the type of route you want, do not try shortest route or you may get routed up farm tracks etc.

You can also set it to read MPG and miles instead of KM. You really need a manual but a good Toyota dealer can help you set it up to your liking. Beware it does not know all the new roads and at some roundabouts etc it routes you round and round. I do not rely on mine fully I always have the route I am taking on hard copy as well. Once it guided me into a builders yard. I found it good in towns and cities finding a specific address.

Hope this helps. Chris.
