Offset/arch/wheel/spacer Dilemma

As you guys know my Yashio kit should now arrive any day!

But I'm gonna have a problem, that I can foresee.

I currently have 17x7's on the car, Which fill the arches nicely, but once I have the Yashio Wider arches on, the rims are gonna look silly. So what can I do regarding the offset and width of the rims, to compensate, I know that the smaller the Offset number, the further the rims will be pushed out. So what do I do, I don't think I can go any wider then 7" rims. Ideally I'll be purchasing some 16x7's in the next few days, but will some spacers help, or what!

Help! :crybaby::lol:

yashio use spacers on theirs.

failing that. get a set of wheels custom made :)

www.imagewheels.co.uk

£1300 should do the trick. apart from that i dont think you will easily get wheels in the fittment and offset you require.

volk TE37 CUPS come in 4x100 and might have some small offsets.

they were designed for micras and yari

id say you would need a 7.5 wheel with 0 offset

If it was me I would fit as wide of wheels as possible and not fit spacers.

You could if you have the money fit 16x8.5" rims like these

http://www.envyperformance.com/index.cfm?f...Product_ID=2039

Might only be able to fit 16x7.5" on the fronts.

Don't know if you like the design and or colour but I reckon it would look mega PIMP.

Wide body and decked on WIDE wheels B)

FYI according to this the Yashio Vitz had "15x7 Yokohama Kreuzer wheels, Yokohama Neova tires 195/50R15" so maybe try them without spacers and if it doesn't look good fit some.

Yea I know the Yashio has those, but I have 7inch wide wheels at the moment, and they don't stick out the original arches at all! So I'm definitely gonna need spacers I think. I can't get silly wide wheels on will I, due to clearance...?

All I know is that I have 15x7" wheels offset +42 (I think) and they dont stick out of the arches so I reckon you could easily fit 16x7.5" not to sure about 16x8.5".

Its hard for you cause nobody else has the same kit that you can really talk to so hope ive helped and not confused you further.

Can't wait to see it finished B)

Yea, but When I had 7.5's, they rubbed on the inner arch, so surely the wider I go the more it's gonna rub on the inside? I think?

Yea I know thats a problem I have.

I just wanna sort it.

Quickly.
