Help! B.h.p

Hi guys my name is Murray and I have just joined the toyota club.

I have just brought a 1992 celica gt4 import and was wandering if anyone knew what they came as standard B.H.P.

I think its a 185 but could be a 205. How would I check which one it is?

Hi and welcome to the club.

Firstly could you write a little larger as I had trouble reading it :P

If its a 185 it'll have pop up front lights, if its a 205 it'll have four headlamps. With yours being a 92 it will be a 185

Do you know if it is a carlos sainz/RC? (these have a charge cooler on top of the engine like the 205) IIRC the 185 has around 200bhp standard with the CS/RC a little more.

Its a 185 and isnt a carlos model.

Do you know anywhere I could get the stats for it.

I would like to know 0-60, b.h.p, top speed etc.

I plan to do some work on it to bring it to 300b.h.p. When I brought it I was told it was running at 242 and nothing had ever been done to it.

But thanks for clearing the bhp up for me

Think 0-60 is around the high 6's and top speed about 150 ;)
