It is the serial number of the console that's banned.

There's no way a banned console will be able to play online again.

Everything knows what the serial number should be, from the DVD drive to the Hard drive etc, etc. If it's banned, it's banned.

If you know anything about the scene, you should know this info. The chap who makes the firmwares even has stated that a banned console will never e able to play online again.
