New House

Finally got the keys to my house in East Hull on 11th May, the original completion date was 4th May.

I had a look at a house in Bilton and that house was too small for the amount they was asking for. I had a look at two other houses in East Hull and one of them was okish. The 4th house I looked at was out of my budget and after it was reduced twice I got my offer accepted. (22k under the original asking price)

Its an end terrace with a massive lounge, dining room, bigish kitchen, 3 bedrooms (will use one of them as an office), bathroom, large loft room and a 21ft garage.

I was a bit worried about the high levels of damp found on the survey. I was shocked when the estate agent told me that the sellers would pay for the damp proofing.

I'll probably only spend 5 nights at the house this month.

Its at a good location, its 1.8 miles away from the office and its not in Bransholme or Kingswood.
