Occasional Starting Problem - Noise From Glovebox!

I have a very occasional issue when starting and am wondering whether it might be the start (excuse pun) of a bigger problem.

Very occasionally, when I turn the key, the engine doesn't start or even turn and the only noise I get is a high pitch buzzing sound coming from the glovebox area So far, when this has occurred, the car has always started ok on second go.

I'm assuming it's something to do with the electrics in the vicinity of the glovebox. Anyone else experienced this? I'd welcome thoughts on it.

If it doesn't get any worse I'll probably leave it until the next service in a few months time - unless any replies suggest otherwise.
