I want to replace my lambda sensor on my gen 6, to help try to improve my sub 20 MPG. Has anyone got any guides to how to do this, and can anyone tell me if this lambda sensor on eBay will do:

lambda on ebay

Also, if the guy from the sticky is still around, did it help your MPG?

Wish i would have seen that. At that price i would definately give it a go. Mine cost me 120 from Toyota and turned out to be other issues anyway. If your sensor is faulty it would more than likely improve the mpg.

What were the other issues? Im not sure whats giving me the poor MPG but I've tried injector cleaner, intake manifold cleaner, change of spark plugs and panel filter, there isn't much more left to try. I do drive the car hard but Id still expect more than 250 miles to a full tank (60 litres which equals about 19 MPG)

All i need now is a guide to change it as i don't even know where the lambda is located on the car.
