Engine Block Heater

Anybody in the UK got an Engine Block Heater for the Winter. I have read a lot about them being used in Canada and the USA. I am getting great consumption at present although I am trying hard, I got 64mpg over the last tank and just approaching my first 600mile tank. My main problem is that first 5 mins I am struggling to better 30mpg.

Also what tyre pressure are you running at?

- drive for more than five minutes...

- engine block heaters are very useful if your local lake has frozen over to the point where it can be driven on. Not otherwise

- 50mpg US average is not bad going..

- 42/40psi
