Hi i Just ordered a Tein basic coiloverkit and want to wind it all the way down... My question is how wide wheels can i put on if i dont want them rubbing (even with people in the backseat)?

I want 15" rims, but how wide, and what size tires should i get?

Hope you understand what i mean (Im from Denmark  )

With people in the back I'd be looking at getting 6x15 maximum. That might still scrub as I've never tried it.

For tyres I'd go for 195/45 R15.

From what most people say 195 wide tyres should be ok on standard TS'es rims and lowered car. Wider wheels and tyres will mostly rub unless you modify the wheel arches.

:( Was hoping it was possible to put on some 8x15" Rims with a bit stretched tyres...

If I went for them would it be enough to just roll up the arches?

I think it would be enough to roll up arches but you have to ask somebody who have such wide rims.

No I don't - just browse the users of this forum and maybe you'll find one :)

I think 7x17 is the biggest wheels on the forum for the Yaris. Any wider than 195 tyres and you start to have problems.

I have 7x17, 205 tyres, lowered, and no rubbing whatsoever.

Although all the bodywork and wheels are currently off the car anyways

But I will be fitting 16x7's or 16x8's sometime soon :)

I had mine slamned on 15x7" rims (offset 42) with 195/45 tyres :D

WITH NO RUBBING either fully loaded or on full left/right lock.

Ok, i would like to hear how it goes if you choose the 8" rims... what are you doing to the car since its taken apart? Think your car is one of the best looking yarises i have ever seen :)

Also is it possible to put 195 tires on 8" wide rims?

And regarding the 8" rims, it looks like I'll just be getting 7" with a lower offset, and some spacers...I think :blink:

205 is too wide. Better going with 195 if you ask me.
