1986 Celica Gt Convertible, What Gen Is My Car? Also...

Hey people, just thought i would say hi!

Im Danny from Norwich, England. I have a 1986 Celica Gt Convertible, which has been sitting in my garage for about a year now, and its time to start the restoration.

it needs a little work for the mot, mostly welding, but after that is sorted im going to need a new hood. my question is, where is going to be the best place to get a hood from??? its the style with the 2 part hood, the targa piece at the front and the standard fold down part to the rear. i found a price online, from carhoodsdirect which was £595 +vat,(supply only) is this a good price. or should i keep shopping around??

also what are they like to fit? im an auto electrician by trade, so know how to rip cars apart, but just dont want to get in too deep.

secondly, what gen is my car?? i think its a gen 4, but someone help me
