CAN anybody advise please,

I have a problem when i start my avensis even when it is hot or cold the car dose not start but when i play around then its starts with one of the sensors

It's a common problem with the starter motor on that gen of Avensis. Take it to Toyota and its big bucks, I bought the new starter motor and got a non-Toyotsa mechanic to fit it, all in £90.

but it starts intermitently now and then could it sill be starter motor

Afraid so thats what mine used to. Would be fine for a while, then now and then it would take 30/40 turns to get it going. Was defo the starter motor on the way out. Dunno if anyone else has any other suggestions....
