Hi

Does anyone know how easy/hard it is to change the speedo from u.k spec to jap import spec?

At the moment I have a u.k spec on a jap import and I just want to change it over.

Also where could I buy a whole set and what is a good price?

the only difference between a jap speedo and a uk speedo is a jap one only goes up to 120mph

and a uk one goes up to 180mph

so i dont understand why you would want to change it

I imagine that I would have to change the speedo so that it run on the u.k spec.

Is this true and is it hard

hey i will have a similar problem when i collect my GT4. you dont need to change the speedo itself. you just want to change the input signal to the speedo so that it reads in miles not kilometers. not 100% sure how this is done yet.

i have seen some convertors on eBay but unsure how well they work with it being eBay.

the converter they supply does actually work. and the guy gives a good after sale if you get any probs
