Thats not bad my friends clutch went after 55k on his punto

If you paid full wack it would be £400 fitted

Get a decent aftermarket one (The lady on here with supercharged T sport has decent after market clutch)

Should be no more than £150 and fit it yourself buddy!

Clutch is pretty hard mate as you gota remove the gearbox! That means first moving all the crud above it to get to it then a crane to be able to support it while you work on it! not that easy then :P

there is a place on albert hill called ST Johns he use to be the main mechanic for Toyota untill he opened his own garage.

i use to take my IS200 there and always had no problem from him he has also done some work on my TS too.

drop me a message and i will give you his number

My clutch cost around £300 and that was trade price.

as for the fitting i had Ian one of the techy's at work [ who had never done one on a yaris before]

to do it, took less than 2 hours 30mins to do.

If it takes a normal garage 3 hours to do, should be less than £200 labour.

if i was you i'd go with a direct replacement clutch, you dont need a performance clutch

esp if you got the mileage you did out of yours.

i might go for the performance one as i drive the car a lot harder than the previous owners as they were OAP's lol

also gettin a few performance mods of the car manifold, exhaust, sports cat n id like to no i could abuse the clutch if needed lol

as with my clutch now if i so much as frown at the car it nacks up for a few days then stops slipping :S
