Now if they offered this black bag look too owners then you could drive it on the school run...Or either spend thousands on counselling for the kids due to stress and trauma brought on by hideous images and this suv.....

Just seen this video of the Ford Kuga as well...bit jumpy but all in the name of creativity....

That Volvo looks superb apart from the wooden dash. Pug have made a mess of the Outlander with the big mouth grill and have just transfered it to that monstrosity.

The Ford looks very good and no doubt it will drive nicely but its still a Ford. What were those PR people thinking about? They make it hard work to watch and no doubt screwed FMC for a couple of million!!!

TBH I don't know what I would choose instead of the RAV. Its now 17 months old with 13k and it hasn't missed a beat, stopped using oil and tyres only partly worn.

I still think that any other manufacturer is going to have a hard time beating the beautiful lines of the Rav4 - and I say so as the proud owner of a spangly brand new 2.0 VVTi, which I just had to share with you......

Top Gear write up on Outlander...

"It's a good, honest, solid vehicle, the Outlander, one that does nothing absolutely wonderfully well but which doesn't have any major vices either. As an overall package, it really works,"

You and me both mate, I got Chatmans red cross as well.

Everything else seems OK though???

Incidentally, I think that mitzi is the best looking 4X4 IMHO. I'm highly suspicious of the French engine.

Yeah, seems a strange decision from a Japanese car maker. Now a French car with a Japanese engine I can understand, ie the Peogeot 107 as I actually own one. :) Well French in name only I guess, it's built in a Toyota factory and is mechanically identical to the Aygo.

Depends which model of Outlander you buy. The 2ltr is a VW engine the 2.2ltr is the French one.

Yeh I know. I don't really care for the VW engine but am defo wary of the PSA one. I'll stick to my Jap stuff!
