Anybody got any info on the "urban-cruiser" that Toyota are showing at the Geneva motor show? It looks like a scaled down Rav4 wonder what engines will appear in that one? could it poss be given the 1.4D4D engne or would that be too underpowered. With the way fuel is going it really looks a sound investment

I noticed the other day that although the regular diesel has gone up that the V Power diesel was still the same at £1.16 per litre.

V-power petrol is cheaper.... about £1.09 today

wots worse is the whisky going up 55p!! and thats just for 70 cl :angry:

Looks like the rear seats would only be good for vertically challenged people (or under 7's) only, what with the roof going down and the floor coming up. Once read a story about Nixon and the then "Air Force One". Seems that LBJ had a power seat and kidney shaped table so he could easily get into place, then by pressing a couple of buttons he could bring the chair up and the table down. Maybe LR has reintroduced this principle?

I'll take the seat in the RAV thanks. What the picture doesn't show is the oily mixture of leaking fluids (clutch fluid, air con refridgerant, diff oil from failed half shaft seal) streaking out from the back.

Of course styling sells 95% of vehicles (and 90% of statistics are made up on the spot ), so the marketing man has caught you in his nasty snare. Personally I don't look at mine (or the vehicle ) while I'm driving, so it helps me avoid the styling snare.

I know someone who has just sold his LR, to finance the new kitchen his misses wants. So it'll be weekends under the sink, rather than weekends under the LR for him from now on.

Seriously, I don't completely loath LRs like a certain Anchorperson does. It would be great if they could get their reliability act together. Alas I'm not yet convinced they have or ever will.
