Hello.

My three favourite films are the following, in decreasing order of appreciation (podium):

2) "Planes, trains and automobiles", with Steve Martin and John Candy, U.S.A., 1987.

3) "Dumb and dumber", with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, U.S.A., 1994.

Good Choices !

Mine, in no particular order and subject to change depending on what mood I'm in, are

1. Ronin - Just stunning........I miss my Audi !

2. Serenity - Joss Whedon's finest hour.

3. Cannibal the Musical - Little known gem from the makers of South Park !

Cruel, having to pick only three though. I could go on and on........Usual Suspects, The Italian Job, Donnie Darko etc etc

Azumi

Azumi 2 (death or love )

House of flying Daggers

Ghost in the Shell, as the 2 Azumis count as 1

Yes, I'm a huge fan of good Japanese Cinema & Anime, as long as the Yanks have had nothing to do with it. Their idea of Anime is "Transformers" which is done only to sell models to kids

I have just read the year old thread on Transformers :fear:

I will be disappearing for the foreseeable future :2guns::bash::bangin::chair: & will send you all a postcard with no address

Anime Central, which is on Sky, & now totally stuck in a rut, used to have Transformers & GI Joe, both equally lousy  They were removed because no one wanted to watch them. This illustrates my point, they were made by the American Empire.

Not sure if I could quote 3 favourite films without changing my mind 5 minutes later :P

I do enjoy a good Zombie Flick - all five of the Romero Trilogy ( ) are good fun, plus I am Legend, Omega Man, and Last Man on Earth (3 movies all based on same book)

3 Classic old films I always make time to see if they are on TV -

White Heat with James Cagney .... "Top of the World, Ma" :gunsmilie:

I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang with Paul Muni .... "I Steal"

Soylent Green with Charlton Heston ..... I won't say the key quote as it gives the plot away :!Removed!:

In no particular order:

Bullit - Steve McQueen

Last of the Mohicans

Shaft - The original

But that could change - so classic westerns and good car films.

Mrs WWD favs are Dirty Dancing, Sister Act and The Herbie ones.
