More Power

HI I have been putting a few extras on my gt4 185 recently.

So far I have a Baileys Dump Valve and a Pipercross induction kit.

I am looking to put a stainless steel sports exaulst on and chip it.

I have a local machnic doing the work so its all going to be done right.

He said I should ask round and see whicj exualst and chip would be best.

I'm looking for power more than sound with the exualstl, but both would be great.

As for the chip, well I know nothing about them. I want something that makes a difference tho.

Could anyone help me with some advice? And also prices?

Plus what other mods could I add?

At the moment I think with the induction kit i'm running at about 215 bhp top (if i'm luckly lol).

I would like to take her to around 300 bhp.

Any advice is more than welcome thank you.

Hope to put pics on when shes done

Exhaust... de Cat or get a de cat downpipe. mongoose or Scorpion 2 1/2 inch system

Forget chipping it. Metal head gasket (ST205) ARP head bolts, Elecrtronic boost controller. Upgrade to a CT20b tubby. upgrade the fuel pump and fuel rail and a fuel controller. Should get you within spitting distance of where you want to be. Might be good to go for larger injectors too.

Alternatively get a ST205 motor in there.

Yeah I think so. Check with Dawesy. They were metal as standard. Pretty sure the oil ways all line up.

yep you can use a stock St-205 HG on the 185 and there is no difference between the HKS and the stock toyota gasket for the ST-205
