Which Grade Of Oil?

Got 25 Litres of semi synthetic 10W40 left over from my Mk2 Golf GiT days, anyone here put similar in their TSport?

It's out of warranty now so am thinking of doing my own servicing again...

I use 05W40 Q8 oil..

you really need a 0w oil. 10w is not really up to it. you'll get away with it but not recommended.

how often do you guys change your oil if your using 0w fully synth, and how much oil does the t sport take?

every 6 months, 5 litres off the top of my head.

every time i drain it i flush it too. car really does run better once its been changed.

Used to do my old Golf every 5000 miles, the state of the bodywork killed it in the end but the lump still ran like a young thing at 283,000 miles!
