Tyre Dressing

Hey,

just got some nice Yokohama C drive Tyres 185/55/15 and was wondering whats the best tyre dressing people have used i don't wanna any of those horrid foam spray ones more like what they use in the garages.............any ideas?

Meguiars endurance mate its best there is. just dont put too much on or it will flick up onto your car

Same again here. I use Meguiars Endurance (High Gloss Tyre Protection Gel). Much better than those spray on tack!!!

Use Turtle WAX tyre dressing with nano tech formula, no idea if its the best but lasts good 2 weeks and looks dam fine!

i tried the turtle wax stuff and wasnt keen didnt seem as good as the Meguiars imo

I always pour a small amount into a lid and use a paint brush and paint it onto the wheel. Try not to put to much onto tyre as it will flick off onto body work Quality product last for weeks

How come it flicks off onto the bodywork? Does it not dry?

its just thick and gloopy lol if you put too much on it sits on the tyre then when you drive it flicks up. you can put just the right amount on for a brilliant black shine by usin very little of it. lasts for ages too ive had mine over a year and still have half a bottle left.

flip me it must be difficult painting on megs high gloss, its more like a gel would be hard to put on with a brush.

get a sponge and put some of it on the sponge then rub it all over the tyre. gets a nice even application with no excess to flick off.

it is the best tyre gel (next to blackfire, but blackfire is dear.)
