I received a car tax reminder for my CTS from the DVLA this morning - £205 :censor:

Am I right in thinking that this is the top banding for C02 emmissions? Does that mean the VVTLi is a really bad engine? Will Greenpeace start picketing around my front door?

Someone in the office has a Porsche Boxster 3.2S and he pays the same amount.

It's the highest band for cars registered after 1 March 2001 but before 23 March 2006.

Cars registered after March 06 with emissions above 225g/km will have to pay £300!

So if Greenpeace do come round just explain that you are doing your bit by driving a "greener" car than an SUV!!

Guys excuse my ignorance but my i have a compressor which was 1st registered on 07/01/07 just had my road tax reminder in and its 205 quid too, not sure that even the government know how to work the system.

Compressor is the same tax band as the regular T Sport as it is under 225g/km CO2.
