Ive been searching in vain for a carbon bonnet for the '05 TSport but have had absolutely no luck.

Heard roumours of a C One carbon bonnet for it, but havent seen or been able to find out anything about it .

Would be nice to know if anyone had found one.

Failing that a custom job may be the only answer, although i am near soiling myself at the very thought of a custom carbon bonnet invoice

i priced up the c-one carbon bonnet a while back and if i remember right it was over a £1000 cos it had to imported :!Removed!:

How much lighter is the Carbon bonnet over the steel ones? If it's only few kgs, i don't think it's justify the cost tbh.

It would be hard to think that t custom job would cost you any more than that lol!

I had thought (feel free to call me a liar here as im far from 100% on this) that the carbon bonnets were about 4.5 Kgs a piece, while a standard metal lid weights a good bit more, maybe 9 or 10 Kgs. Its hard to tell with it hinged at your window though!

Its a good bit lighter for sure but is it worth a grand??

Mmm, im afraid id have to agree with corroded on that one mate..

It would probably be hard to tell the difference from more than a few feet away, but thats not the point.

I mean why pretend to have something you havent got. Proper carbon bonnet - or none at all.
