New 1.4 D4d Owner

Hi chap's, just poping in to say hello & nice site. :thumbsup:

I've recently bought a Corolla 1.4 D4D T3 and am very impressed with it. Having changed from a Rover 75 2.5 v6 due to the mad cost of petrol :censor: & pretty poor mpg from it.

Does anyone know if cruse control can be fitted as an aftermarket fitment & has anyone done it?

Hi Toyota did cruise control on the Corolla in other markets . If Toyota do not sell a kit there are a lot of other suppliers that do. Just Google it.

I have had my 1.4D4D over two years. Nothing gone wrong 55mpg and I do not do any long runs. Very pleased with the comfort and performance. hope you enjoy yours

After 4 weeks of owning the 1.4d4d rolla I must say the mpg Im getting is fantastic!

Worst 51 mpg with a lot of spirited driving & 62 mpg driving like an old timer, so I think high 50's will be the norm.

Cruise control has taken a back seat at the moment , the Toyota dealer said it could affect the warranty, so Im going to play it safe as there is 18mths left on it.
