Black Diamond Disks?

Hey all.... be gentle, first post!!

I'm due for a full disk change as my 40k service has revealed major corrosion of all disk sets. A friend with a 7th gen GT suggested getting them skimmed but i'm quite interested in kitting it out with Drilled/Grooved Black Diamond Disks.

Now i've searched the net for the relevant disks and all i can find are 275mm fronts which I presume are for the T-Sport, 255mm which I think are for the 140bhp and 269mm as the standard rear disks. Problem is, every site lists them all as ZZT230 disks which I take it is the 140bhp model. Even though all sizes are listed, will the the 275mm be compatible with my ZZT231 which I think means the 190 T-Sport??

Any help would be great with this as i've had to spend quite a lot on the car just recently and want to get it all done asap.

Regards, RS

Hello and welcome to TOC from another Cardiffian :thumbsup:

Can't help you with the brakes though. It might be worthwhile taking a wheel off and measuring the disk - it's what I had to do with my rear disks.

Ok, here we go!!

Prefacelift

140 = 255mm

190/TSport = 275mm

Postfacelift

140/190/TSport = 275mm

If you have a preface lift 140 the front brakes are also different. The black diamond pads are only listed for the 275mm disc.

I hope this helps, good choise of disc :thumbsup:
