I am left handed, everyone picks up on it, saying I look strange writing etc.

They say that 10% of the population is left handed so lets give this poll a go, its been a while since we have had one of my pointless polls! :P

It is also proven that left handed people in general dont live as long as right handed people. :(

At university where I studied graphic design nearly two thirds of the class were left handed, shows we use the right hand side of the brain which is the creative side.

I like to think I'm a creative sort of person too but I teach... physics.

Probably means I'm in the wrong job!

By the way, the Latin for 'right' is 'dexter' while for 'left' it's 'sinister'

Well I totally got the wrong end of the stick when I read the title... :D

I'm a dexter with a deep mistrust of anyone who is sinister.

My dad "used" to be a lefty but he was forced to write with his right hand at school. As a consequence he is now fairly ambidexterous but favours his right hand now.

I think I read somewhere that left handed drivers are more likely to be involved in head on collisions because of their natural reaction to pull the car left and a righty to pull to the right means they both pull the car in the same direction.

Lefty here!!! I must admit I fall into the 'naturally creative' category, but love getting my hands on anything technical.

Pet hates... tin openers, knives with the serated bit on the wrong side so it cuts away from whatever you're cutting and playing hockey at school because you can't get left handed hockey sticks!!

I rocked at tennis though!

Strange thing is I throw darts with my right, play pool right handed, bowl right handed, use my knife & fork as a right hander but left with a spoon...oh, and if I hold a rifle it is left shoulder.

I'm right handed with everything I do except for using scissors, my dad is right handed usually but he plays golf & cricket left handed

I'm actually ambidextrous... I can write f*** all with both hands
