Got My Exhaust Fitted, Oh N A Lil Suprise :p

Went to powerflow yesterday to get my new Cat back fitted

the guy said no problem call it £30 and we can do it

left the keys started walking to morrisons

phone call 10 mins later

"alrite alex, havin a few problems we are going to have to cut your bumper to get this exhaust on so call it £50"

walked for another 10 min then got another phone call

"alex we cant cut your bumper as its metal and we dont have the tools, also the exhaust wont fit on to the end of your cat because its cut to sort"

turned round walked back up to power flow to talk bout wat to do.

got there talked for a lil bit about possible ways of getting it on agreed on paying £100 to have the hangers moved, full exhaust fitted and ...............

a DECAT

picked the car up 2 hours later

ive used £50 of petrol since 4 yesterday i love it

loads more grunt cant wait to add the megan manifold to it now

only 2 problems are

1) flat spot is still there but not as bad

2) it sticks out to far at the moment going back in next week to have it moved back

it sounds so gud but its loud like proper loud but only when your givin it the beans

must say im very pleased with it and the price i paid i think was really good

£75 to fit and decat

£10 to refit the sensors

then VAT

is it on an angle facing towards the floor or it is just the pics making it seem that way?

I'd guess it's angled as they didnt wana cut the rear valance. Btw i'm pretty sure Adam (Yaris SR kid) had his bumper cut into (also done at powerflow)). Other than that cool!

ok i would like to retract my previous statement of it being quiet lol

it fooooookin loud

took my mate out in it tonite n he was laughing for the first min then very pale by the end of it haha

would recommend a decat like its unreal

ill get a sound clip up soon, no good using my mobile jst cant get the sound on it cause its to loud

its sort of angled slightly so its not cut into the bumper

anoyin me cause its stickin out tho

im thinkin of gettin powerflow to make me a bolt in decat and then gettin a cheap cat off anything and gettin them to make it so it fits where the bolt in decat goes so i can pass my mot

price was really good very chuffed with the work

as for the flat spot

all the hoses are being cheacked tomoz

cleaning the throttle bodys

flushing the system out with redex

changing the oil

see if that helps if not its going in to a garage

Yeah thats what all my mates were like when they first got in it!

When i got sports cat in it helped with high end power like over 60!

What are you going to do at MOT time?......................................you model year should have a cat............even a sports cat would do.

0-70+ is well rapid but up top its still not so great still better tho

just got a blitz induction kit and my megan manifold shouldnt be to much longer so i think it should go like stink after that :D oh and be LOUDDDDD...ER than it is already haha

as for my MOT im quite worryed because its a month and half away

so just modify the decat to be a bolt in bolt out so i can wack a cat in there when needed :)

you could just put your old exhaust back on for the mot if you want im sure you still have the cat.

you should still pass emissions fine without a cat though. Its just the noise i would be worried about if its too loud.

old cats in the bin cause it was fried just a pile of ash n stuff left in it :( thats y im havin problems :(

ill be fine on noise cause the dude hu does my mot is pretty sweet

i failed my mot last year with a broken cat in so think with out one my be a problem

Yeah get bolt in bolt out cat will save money in long term, i still have my standard cat if you need!

I think the blitz is not designed for SR so you will need relocation pipe dude!
