A Few Updates Since The New Year

It's been a while since I posted anything about my Corolla so here goes.

The gearbox was getting very notchy so it’s been rebuilt and while it was out a new clutch was put in. The Blueprint unit that came out (about 75% worn) had done 45,000 miles in 3.5 years with no trouble so a new Blueprint went back in.

I’ve painted the brake calipers (and the rusty parts of the disks) with smooth black Hammerite. No picture sorry.

The cam covers had been chrome plated but the plating had started to flake so they have been powder coated along with the strut brace and air box – now all finished in metallic graphite

The intercooler pipework has been re-made in mirror finish stainless steel.

At long last I've swapped the original steering wheel for a Momo Fighter leather job.

TTE badge on front grille and supercharged badge on the rear hatch.

There are DBA grooved rear disks and new pads in the pipeline.

It looks even better in real metal..................I saw it at the JTS Silverstone meet a couple of weeks back.
