Hi All :yahoo::drool::thumbsup::rolleyes::toast:

Well I finally picked up my new aygo blue this monday (first chance I have had to post) and its sooo beautiful...i love it, the colour is just striking and the scuff plates are alloys are great. The blue tooth is wonderful too easy to use and very clear to hear people, have run out of credit on my phone now as have been just driving around calling people randomly..lol but also been useful for when I got lost yesterday too. Interior matching is nice and the glove box lid is much better and the gear knob brilliant too. New car smell is always fab, got a few plans for it hopefully done it in time for cruise!!

Only have some small grumbles, the mats with the blue dont seem to be of as good qualifty as the other ones and keep moving and would not reccomend getting the delivery pack as this includes mud flaps (main reason I wanted it) mats which actually come with car anyway and petrol, Mr T have offered another tank of feul instead of the mats but thinK i should have just got the mudflaps fitted as they only cost £99 last time and delivery pack is just under £300, oh well live an learn. Window wiper is also still useless so will have to get new one.

But other than that absoloutly fab and luurve it!

Will hopefully get some pictures up by the weekend for peeps and cant wait to show off at cruise..lol!

Are you coming on the Aygo drive day in your new beast?

We had a customer at work turn up today in an Aygo Blue. It's a really nice shade of blue( even in the pouring rain).

Even though I love my black one, ( just a pain to keep clean) I am a bit jealous of the blue ones.

I've put a glove box lid on mine, and the car looks so much better for it as well as hiding things from view. It just finishes the interior off. Its just a shame it didn't come with one in the first place, like yours.

Enjoy the new car smell while you can. it just makes a car feel special.

How much did ur glove box lid cost? I was thinkin of gettin one for mine...

You can them on eBay for about £30, they cost a bit more from a main dealer. I got mine from a local Peugeot dealer. They are very easy to fit, just 2 self tapping screws for the hinge, and another for the lid retainer.

If you don't fancy fitting it yourself, if you buy if from a main dealer, they should fit it for free, ( if you ask nicely).

hope you like...havent done much to it yet except put stuff back innit ie seatbelt pads, steering wheel cover...dont think I have the time or money to get much done before the cruise..nevermind..

oh to retract a previous statement i think the delivery pack comes with supaguard too which is quite expesinve so maybe not such a bad deal

well now for the story..had minor collision with shogun on my street at weekend, left me sobbing at the roadside over my crumpled ended 5 day old baby blue! when reversed out it all appeared to pop back in place which was quite pleased about no damage to other car..but now i have a scracth which t-cut wont fix, the toyota emblem fell off and doesnt look as secure and not sure if the headlights are a bit pertruding now..not sure what to do..obviously dont want to claim anything in insurance but not sure what Mr T would say, would there be the lagoon blue scratch out stuff at Halfords? any advce would be greatly received

Nice looking car

Does the scratch go right through the paint  If not then you have a chance of polishing it out. Please don't use T-Cut though, go to a decent bodyshop and ask if they can give it a go for you. They have access to 3M products which are far kinder to the paint, it will clearly cost you but it is worth it. Good luck!

Hi SJ,

We do a Smart Repair service that could rectify the damage. I know Nigel had a look at it on the Drive Day and he didn't think that it would polish (or "T-Cut") out. You can book a Smart Repair with our service department and we will Supagard back over it once its done.

Thats a really nice steering wheel, why hide it with a cheap looking cover?

Hi

Thanks James, I will pop in soon and get a quote from you, would like to get it fixed soon, but havent got no money at present. Anyway thank again for aygo cruise day was fun!

As for steering wheel cover, it wasnt cheap, the steering wheel underneath aint excactly exciting and I personally find it much more comfortable to drive with and protect the general wear and tear. but thanks for your comments anyway, each to there own.

didn't mean to offend in anyway, I apologise if I did. I just really like the standard wheels, As you say, each to their own.

Love the interior blue door panels though, I've done the same with the 2's.

Sorry to read about the troubles, :crybaby:

I had my Blue for two days and had it dinged in a car park, I used Mr Jeeves Miracle Polish which took out the scratch with no problem.

This stuff is magic you can use it on the plastics, glass and paintwork, It makes it look like new and it does not require loads of effort to polish off.

Keep the Faith

Those Aygo blues are really nice - saw a few of them at the local Toyota Dealer a few weeks back and that colour is really deep but kinda vibrant at the same time.
