Toyota say the top speed is 109MPH, Ive got 114MPH uphill on the M61 to Preston.

Anyone been faster? Not say you should all do it

0-60 is 8sec (got pulled though)

dunno, over 120, prob 125-130, speedo ends at 120!

cant believe how fast theyll go for a small engine!

mind you i do believe 4th and 5th are a bit 'long' in the ratios anyway!

I've had 123Mph out of an SR but 8 sec's 0 - 60?

yeah, ill say they do 0-60 in 10? if you give it a rag.

i find short shifting second works better than peak shifting it....

but they do go fast. ike i said 125. didnt look at the revs, you dont really get time. but my mate next to me said i was doing about 5 mpg

i recon its got 127 in it. but i bottled it cos there was a nice corner coming up and i had to drop the speed about 60 mph.

On a 1998 Corolla. I'm doing 160kph by the speedo and distance posts along the road say it's 152. Probably all the speedo's give similar error which would say 125(speedo)~=120(real).

But it hurts to know.

I know its ment to be about 10 sec , but it was 8 sec for 0-60 without spinning the wheels, like i sed i got pulled so i would be doing it for a while (dive about 50MPH now)

so you dont mind people discussing modifying their cars but you object when they talk about driving them fast? well your not going to like this but i happen to be a "max muppet" as you put it and i enjoy being so, by this i dont mean i race at every opertunity but i do enjoy the odd race and am always very spirited behind the wheel and before you all start whinging on about young people driving too fast im 51 2 days and have always drove the way i do now and 1 more thing ive got a photo of my sr doing 126mph ish and it wasnt done on the a1m ok it was done on the ......airfield in doncaster (finningly) and when i say a photo i mean of the speedo not the car going by lol
