Hi All,

I got my left front wheel slightly scuffed in the very edge lip of the wheel just before the tyre.

This was caused by me and another car having to avoid an on coming truck to far over our side of he road on a narrow lane :censor: Ironically most of the lane does not have a curb so would have been fine, just the one section it does it happens. (better scuffed wheel than no door mirror!)

Anyhow anyone know of a mobile refinishing company in Derby that will fix it, or something I can do myself? (And rough cost)

The scuff is not deep just unsightly.

The alloys are the ones you find on the gen 7 (2006) GT.

There's one company I know of who operate a mobile service in Derby who repair alloys. Not used them myself so don't know how good they are. They have a web site at www.dentsrus.co.uk.

The other company I know of in Derby is called Wheelstyle, but these aren't a mobile service. I have used these before though and they do a cracking job. They have a web site at www.wheelstyle.co.uk. Think they charged about £50 for a 17" alloy.
