Anyone know how to take the centre consol out of a 05 toyota avensis, i have to replace the gearstick so i have to take the whole consol out to do this .Deakin

you can find the free (installation) manuals of Avensis. Try the installation manual of TnS300 or TNS600 for Avensis. This has some instructions on how to remove the center console. Also the manual for Parking aid 800 has instructions on how to remove some parts of the console.

All in all, at least one of the manuals of Avensis has information on how to remove the center console (I have seen it personally) , but I do not remember which is the one.

Thanks frape just got back in from doing the job myself its not that hard, the only thing about it, the gearstick i put in was worse that my own so i had to take it out and put my own back in,i cant believe no one else is having this problem?
