Aftermarket Dvd Player

Please can someone help me. I want to change my standard cd player from my avensis (2005).

Can someone help me with removing the old one. Also where can I get silver face plate from. One more thing can I fit a double din?

Hi Matt,

Just picked up my Avensis yesterday and I'm looking to do the same. I've got in touch with a few car audio places asking if they can fit the

Pioneer AVIC D3BT (which is double DIN) and they've told me that yes, it is possible. They werent too confident of keeping the steering controls though,

which is a bit of a worry.

They said bring it in and they will take a proper look though, so I'm going to take it in to Bass Junkies (near me) on Saturday and will let you know how I get on...

Just got back and they've basically told me it'll fit, and work, but it boils down to finding a Fascia adapter. Which seems to be extremely tricky! (they didnt have any on their system)
