Radios In Imported Series 2 Prius

Last month I bought an imported 2001 Prius from a dealer in east london. The car is a delight and I am very pleased with it. There are just two problems. I don't have a manual in english. And secondly, although I have had the frequency extender put in on the radio aerial [£100] it seems almost impossibe to tune the radio accurately. I suspect that in the menu system which goes with the radio/satnav system [playing with which sometimes results in a Japanese lady giving us unintelligible advice] there is a way of doing this, but as it's all in Japanese I can't tell. Does anyone know - and in the longer term, where can I get a manual in English?

Welcome to TOC.......................I would have thought that your local friendly Toyota dealer could order one of the manuals for you

A number of my 350Z friends had imported their car and I am afraid that it was always the case that the radios had to be thrown away and replaced, I do not know of anyone that has made a Japanese car radio work over here :(

Any ideea how to change the display on the Multydisplay monitor from japaneze to english??

I am quite sure it cannot be done as it would need a total software change :(
