Not sure if you can go as far as 35-40mm on original shocks, I think (not sure) you can only go to 30mm, which is what I did my my CTS. I bought the Mr T ones that were in the brochure at the time, think they cost me about £280 inc fitting. Worth every penny though, I hated driving it before, just didn't feel remotely sporty or confidence inspiring, but love every minute of it now.

I have -35mm PI springs fitted to my CTS and they make the handling so much better but the ride quality hasn't changed so I have nowt but praise for them so go ahead you won't be disappointed.

If you go lower than 30mm you run the risk of damaging your shocks... also worth considering uprated ant-roll bars.

I have added more details in this thread..........

http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.p...st&p=646316

I am planning to add TTE springs to a set of Koni FSD dampers!

Can anyone tell me what is the parts no. for the TTE springs as 2 of my local dealer(Salford and Liverpool) insists the TTE springs will not fit a 2002 3-door corolla t-sport model but will fit a 5 door!!! :crybaby:

I tried to bid for it cause the price will be reasonable under £100. However some idiots tried to outbid me and I tried to irritate him. I offered £149 which is almost the dealer price but his offer is even higher. I sort of let it go.

Surprise surprise, I got a second bid offer! It is quite clear that someone istrying hard to find outhow much i want those springs!

I got mine now from my Toyota dealer!!!

How much did you pay for them from toyota? if you don't mind me asking! I'm really debating about them! There are a set of Pi ones on eBay at moment! 10 sets of them! click here Not bad price! But tbh i'd prefer the tte ones, but need a price to compare with!

thanx

p.s might be worth mentioning! The shocks on the pre-facelift and facelift models are the same! the only difference is the springs I believe as the facelift sits on smaller springs, hence why its not actually worth buying lowering springs for the facelift as its already sitting on some and your gains to go lower will be small say 10mm or less! depends on the set of springs! (Somebody pls correct me if i'm wrong!)
