Auto Lock Doors On Avensis T180

Hi All

1st time Toyota owner. Just swapped my Ford Mondeo ST TDCI for an Avensis T180.

Very happy with the car (do miss heated seats and quick clear windscreen though). T180 is much more refined than the Ford. It is quieter and much more comfortable.

One useful feature on the Ford was that you could set the doors to auto lock when the car reached 5mph. To set it you had to go through a sequence of turning the ignition key and locking and unlocking the doors a number of times. Almost a hidden feature really. Does anyone know whether you can do the same thing on the T180 and how you set it ??

Thats a nice feature i wish i had on my T180 Auris, be interesting to know if it could be done, like mercedes too i think.

Only way i can think of doing it is pressing the lock button but that defeats the point really

Would be interested to know how you rate the power and engine performance of your T180 against the the ST as i know the ST variants that Ford use are mean't to shift a fair bit.
