Hey i recently bought a set of 17" wheels which i thought looked mint but since i have had a few problems basically with them rubbing on the arches at the back and on the front bumper mounting screww at the front. the garage i go to recommended using coilovers but that sounds a bit pricey to me!?! probably should mention the car is on lowering springs aswell ! -35mm i beleive. will try and get some pictures up soon.

can anyone help me please ! :crybaby:

Coilovers are a bit pricey mate but will allow you to adjust the ride height compared to your springs which are only set at one height. The wheels will rub less if theres obviously a bit more space between them and the arch.

Car looks really good though, other than the shopping list on the side skirt and the exhaust can! You'll probably find that that will come under a lot of scrutiny so brace youreself! as long as you like it though, thats all that matters!!

Nice colour, I would have gone for 16’s personally and maybe a different design as they look too close to the original T Sport wheels.

It looks like you have tints, just the right darkness as well

lol yes plenty of scrutiny about the can, not sure myself anymore tho really, might have it repositioned slightly so it sits higher uip and further back  . i like the stickers tho they change colour with the light and make a mass difference to the car. The reason i liked the wheels is cos they look similar to the standard design just shinyer and bigger. Windows havn't been tinted YET gonna get it done soon, just need to save up the nearly £800 for the coileys. newest addition is a set of projector headlights, mutts nuts i reckon need some brows tho i reckon! wat do u think ??

Ah mate the handling is amazing when you've got the coileys on, changes the drive and feel of the car dramatically.

Yea i really hope so, if this doesnt stop the rubbing i think i'll just have to have the arches ground out and sealed, final straw but all in the name of passion. Alot of people think the car handles worse when you add 17" wheels and at first i would of agreed but now im used to it i think it feels alot more stable going round corners e.t.c. doest feel like it wants to let go asmuch, but good tyres alwasy make a difference. anyways i'll let you all know how the coileys go tommoro night hopefully :yahoo:
