Hi, i want to get a bov for my 205, i want one that sounds like its constantly venting, i've heard them on other cars. Does anybody know where i can get one of these from. I hate bov's that 'tishhh' when you just touch the throttle.

cheers

Im not a grate fan of realy loud BoV, mine makes alot of noise with the re cerulating BoV with it only being 6 inches from the intake ><

Idk what to recomend on BoVs but if your not into large "Tish" sounds (wich are fun but can get imarsing ><) u sould look into BoV wich thay had on the audi Quotro in the Group B rally, that is a cool sound, kinda like x2 BoV goinging off repeatedly not in seqaunce , if u know what i meen.

I have yet to find out how to achive this sound, my m8 is adui fan with an S2 and he cant find the info eather..... but i know u can get them i have herd them before on an escort cozzy and a kit car.

If u find some footage of the adui quatro on U-tube when its not going to fast and hiting a few corners your hear the sound i meen.

that is not the wastegate, even if it is commonly called wastegate chatter!!!

that noise on the sup was compressor stall.

basically the BOV (if fitted) is set too hard. thus when the throttle is released the compressed air in the intake cannot go anywhere due to the throttle plate being closed, so it goes back out of the compressor housing, stalling the compressor wheel and creating that fluttering sound.

on a ceramic CT series turbo it isn't good as it puts a lot of strain on the shaft in the turbo which can lead to a failure.

if you don't want a load BOV then get a recirculating one as this vents the air back in before the turbo.
