Regarding my CV joint thread, can anyone confirm whether the CV joints / driveshafts on the Yaris T-sport are the same as those on the D4D?? I haven't found a T-sport breaking anywhere, but have found a diesel, so would appreciate if someone could let me know.

Hmmm, would they tell me though??? "Hello, I'm thinking of buying some parts for my Toyota, but not from you"" etc etc. Who'd be best to ring anyway, local dealership or is there a customer services type number??

Theres a technical helpline but its a 'premium rate number' so probably at least £1.50 a minute. Toyota customer services should be able to give you the number.

i wudnt ave thought they woulda been to bothered jst say ive been sent the wrong parts off eBay and was wondering if they would fit worst thay can say is no

just ask if they`re the same..dont have to say where you got it from or where you`ve seen it. if they`re the same they`ll be the same part number, their epc will tell them in 2 secs

Mr T can't help without a chassis number from a D4D to compare it to!

well their epc sucks lol. at work we can just put a part number into the search on the epc and it brings up everything it fits to.

could you not get the chassis number from the d4d thats being broken?

told me the same wen i went for a tsport grille cause thats how there systems work but there are ways round it.

erm message someone with a d4d?

I think I have it sorted now, as long as I have got the chassis codes right???? NCP13 is the Tsport and NLP10 is the diesel??

Remind me via pm and i will take a look at work on monday.

Have plenty of Yaris to look at and if that fails i will get the parts dept to run soem reg plates and check part numbers.

Which parts do you want to compare?

All sorted some kind bod on another forum looked it up on their EPC, and the parts are the same. :D So the bits are on order and I'm booked into the garage for next Monday!
