Could I take my three month old Aygo back and have Air Conditioning fitted at the dealership for £500?

I am also still having problems with rattling from the D on the door which meets the dashboard, I have tried putting foam in various places behind it and to no avail, do you think Mr T would sort it out for me for nothing under warranty? I have the radio on a lot so don't notice it a lot of the time and forget about it, but I am not that happy with it and having the faff around with botched DIY solutions when it's a new car and I'm paying £139 a month for the finance.

Cheers

You could try, but I don't think so.

The parts needed are expensive and fitting them would involve MANY hours

as they would have to take out AND re-fit the dash to fit the evaporator,

take off the front bumper, fit the condensor, the compressor, new belts,

a bunch of AC-hoses and pipes and so on.

When they're installing these at the factory, most of the things that have to be removed now

aren't on the car yet, so it's fairly easy and can be done for that money. But a retrofit would

probaby be double or triple that price, provide you could find a dealer who's willing to do it for you...

It could even be cheaper to sell your current Aygo and order a new one WITH A/C

I thought not, thanks for the reply anyway.

I took it down today and asked about the rattle. They said they will road test it tomorrow morning, so all I can say is that it better rattle like the wind!!!
