Hi all, I changed my radiator last week (96 prev) because i had an overheating problem. Touch wood it seems to have cured the problem. Just a quick couple of questions for you, what are the oil pipes for at the bottom of the radiator? What oil is it? & if its not engine or transmission oil, where do i top it up from??

Thanks Dazza

They are the transmission oil cooler lines. Oil travels from the transmission to the base of he radiator. As part of this journey and through conductive dissapation at the radiator, heat is lost and cool oil returns to the gear box. I assume your vehicle has an auto box. You need to check your transmission oil both when cool and hot as outlined in your owners manual.
