Avensis 05 Tow Bar

I have a Towbar from my 05 avensis which is surplus to requirements ( Wife has bought a Jeep Cherokee !!)

Does anyone know how much I should be looking to sell this for. I have all the electrics and the towbar itself has hardly been used.

Was going to fit it on my 06 Avensis but because of my wifes purchase it is no longer needed

Hello Palletman,

I bought a towbar with single electrics from Towequipe for my '03 Avensis. Paid £135 for single electrics and a full by pass relay (better to be safe than sorry). Towbar and electric kit was £110. It was dead easy to put on (no bumper cut required) though running the relay from the Battery was fun as I couldn't get it through the engine bay as the car is so well built!

So I suppose I'd be asking £50 or so for a single electrics kit towbar, £65 for a double and add £15 if you have a bypass relay to go with it.

That's what I'd have been happy to pay for a second hand one. I suppose it would help if you would be able to give the buyer some advice if needed on fitting it as Towequipe offer a technical service.
