Blackout Film

I have just spent a day clearing some heavy duty rubbish from my son's garden using my Rav4-3 XTR. I am disappointed today, when I come to clean up,to fing that I have scratched the Blackout film on the back door window. Has any one any experience of getting thse things repaired .It looks unlikely that it could be patched. Am I looking at a complete window replacement, or in that case having to live with it?

Your observations would be gratefully accepted. :censor:

Jock,

If I were you I would ask one of the auto styling companies that do the window tints for advice. There is a lot of them

about and on average they charge £180 to tint the 3 back windows. Worst case scenario you are looking at average £60

to tint 1 window after stripping.

Good luck,

Dave.

What about trying Toyota? They must be able to do it in case of body repair. Also you could price the film to do it yourself.

My other thought is one of the windscreen companies.

Good luck.
