Celica 1.8 Sr (1998) Abs Problem

Hi

firstly, this is a great site. Only found it the other day even though I've had my Celica (called "Kylie" due to her looking so fit from behind! lol) 7 years.

I've done most major repairs myself, brake calipers, brake disks etc. I've changed the front ABS sensor before also.

So I've read the faults page on the ABS section and my light is still coming on. However here's the problem. I cleaned the sensors twice so far (i've got error code 31 & 32) and when the car has been parked for a while, when I start it the light comes on. If I drive 1 mile or less, then turn the ignition off and then on, the light goes out and stays out, until next time the car has been parked for a while!

I've reset the stored codes bit (pumping the brake pedal) but still got the same problem.

Any suggestions. At one point I got an error code or 41 which is Battery related but the batter is new and I have no problems starting or with electrical power?

All advice, opinions welcome before I spend this weekend cleaning both sensors again!!
