New Corolla Idle Speed

I have a new corolla that seems to idle too high when just started, but then is ok after a few minutes of driving. The dealer replaced a faulty Battery in the first few days of ownership, but that didn't seem to make much of a difference. The dealer says it is ok, and so I'm wondering if this is a cause for concern or if it is normal operation and I'm worrying for nothing.

So if anyone could clue me in it would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's normal what your car's doing, it's just warming up.

It will rev just over 1000rpm from cold, then will drop to about 600rpm when warmed

Depends how cold. In winter expect 1500~2000Rpm

it is normal for them to go high when cold 2000 to 2300 for a minuet or so
