Hi guys,

I've rung around some k and n distributers to get hold of a typhoon induction for my CTS!

I've looked on the website and they've got the typhoon, and a 57i.

Could anyone with a k and n induction kit let me know the part number of the right one that i need please?

Cheers

Mark

the only difference of the 69-8751TP/ 51TR and the 57-0594 (57i) is the colors and aluminum tube, I think...

G3m i noticed in another post that you were running 201bhp on the dyno. Have you got anyother surprises under the bonnet apart from the typhoon?

Ok guys and girls,

Got the typhoon fitted! Sounds awesome, looks great and has put my fuel econemy up (obviously this is the reason i got it :))

Gives the CTS alot more of a "throaty" sound but if driven normally is very quiet. I paid £190 and they fitted it on the spot too. So i think thats quiet fair.....i guess

Have noticed the CTS pulls better through the revs aswell. Although haven't put it on the dyno yet so cant be sure of the bhp increase, but k and n garentee one.

I really would, and i reckon everyone else thats got one would, recommend the tphoon. Great system!!

Cheers

Yep by 1 mpg at the moment, but apparently goes up alittle bit more :)

Yeah really recommend them, i didn't fit it personally and although it was a mechanic fitting it, but i over looked and it really didi look quite easy.

He had too take the Battery out though, just to give himmore room i think. So when it was reconnected, i got half way down the road and realised my auto windows didn't work so i had to pull over and reset them..... something to remember lol.

I have just renewed my insurance and asked them about the K&N conversion.

They quoted me just an extra £16 so it looks like I will go ahead and get one now

I assume the Compressor uses the same part numbers?

Certainly looks that way.

K&N make no distinction between the CTS & CTS Compressor.

You've just given me an even better idea.

My mate just went out to the states and said "do you want anything"...

And me, being a prat, didn't even think

Good thing he's got MSN out there really xD
