Where To Buy Fuel Cap From?

hi guys

i need a new fuel cap for my avensis 1.8GS '98

ive looked on eBay and they are about £15 for a locking fuel cap,

is this the going price for them?

also should i get screw in type or locking type?

Had a locking cap on my old Carina II. I was never happy with it. If someone wants to syphon your petrol they will alreay have caused damage to the lock on the flap to reach the petrol cap. In any event the fuel system on the Toyota is designed on the basis that the cap is 100% air tight. The locking type of cap rely on a single thick gasket to maintian a seal. this invariably degenerates over a short time and the seal begins to fail. Tyotas have a distinctive air surge into the tank when the original cap is removed. I never had this on my locking cap. Get an original.
