Warning Beep In Reverse!

Does anyone know how to stop this? i dont understand why it has to go the whole time, just a couple of beeps would be enough. I was thinking of just cutting the wire but didnt know if that would affect the reverse light aswell.

I must admit that it also bugged the norks of me too when I got mine, but after knocking it into reverse a few times by mistake at traffic lights I then thought it wasn't such a bad idea...

I think you can just rip it out and it won't affect your cars reverse lights! But remember if you reverse into someone at the lights you've got only yourself to blame!

The buzzer does however get shared with the lights, so leaving them you won't know about it! and also the key in the ignition thingy!

Another thing to mention I think the buzzer also links to the vsc (so when your giving it some and about to lose it you won't get a warning to back off) can't be too sure as it maybe another buzzer! I think it sounds different, i'll try and find out, but i'll wait till I have a car park and some rain! LOL

That beep is annoying but its there for a reason! its a shame they didnt make the reverse lift gear stick up or push down...

At the end of the day how long you do spend in reverse to get annoyed that much?

Well i always leave my lights on so i need the waring beep for that so i guess ill just leave it. thanks anyway

Actually... you are supposed to push it down! But if you do it fast enough it just slots straight in. Try lightly pushing it into reverse it should not go without forcing it!

ahhh really, i would just push left, and then left again - not sure if i push down. unlike my first car punto, push down or my last car Astra life up.

only had my t-sport a few days, but already put it in reverse at the traffic lights once by mistake... handy :D
