Jet Washing Engine/engine Bay?

anyone here jetwash their engine?

my engine and bay needs a good clean and i want to jetwash it, dunno if its safe though.

if it is, is there anything to be careful with, or anything that needs to be covered up?

also whats the best thing for cleaning the exhaust manifold?

Just make sure you cover all the fuse boxes and all the spark plug leads and alarm box's with plastic bags and you should be ok mate. I have done mine before many times. Just dont get carried away with the pressure washers short controlled bursts About cleaning the exhaust manifold are you trying to shine it up or just wanting to clean muck off?

i jet washed mine, becareful of the Battery and have the engine running and its fine :D
