can anyone tell me if a normal tsport races a compressor t-sport by how many cars infront does the compressor sit by..or how much faster is it on the road...

From what i've read before lift is still at 6,200rpm on the Compressor. You just don't feel it as much as the supercharger kicks in from zero.

There is a kit over here which is £1,600 plus fitting so the general consensus was it'd be better buying the CTS Compressor due to the upgraded suspension, alloys etc. It'd probably work out at the same cost for us.

I'd query with the mechanic about lift. The Lotus tuned CTS engine gets the lift at 5,750rpm.

I think 3,000rpm is a bit optimistic.

Even driving sensibly round town you're always gonna have lift!!

thats tru..however he said that with racetec ecu they can control lift..but if i want the tte ecu then lift will be maintaind at 6200rpm and it wont be that destinct.

however how much faster is the compressor model as compared to the std t-sport ?

On the Compressor the lift comes in around 5200-5400rpm and it's true that it is not as distinctive as on the N/A T-Sports

The max speed is rated at 143mph

Hi Javbrat,

My name is Sash, I am from South Africa, I recently bought a RunX RSI TRD, do you have the contact number for toyota motorsport SA, I also want to supercharge my car with the compressor from the T-Sport, so that my warranty wont drop. I am from KZN,please mail me at reddysashen@webmail.co.za. One more how reliable is the supercharger on these cars, dont they need to drop the compression on the engine in order to fit the supercharger. Can we trust them?

Thanks, I look forward to hear from you guys.

Sash
